 >> ABOUT THE SPOCC TEAM
OCC's directors have developed an outstanding development team that includes some of the UK's leading object-oriented design and technical web development specialists.
OCC programmers are selected, not only for their first class qualifications
(100% have 1st or upper 2nd degrees and one third of the team have
higher Masters degrees or doctorates), but also for their exceptional
communication skills.

Because our Supporting clients are given direct links to the people who actually design their software, it is essential that our consultants can demonstrate strong verbal reasoning skills to respond to concerns and queries quickly, accurately, clearly and without technical jargon.

THE SPOCC TEAM

NW: Graduated with a 1st class degree in Computer Science from Lancaster University and has over eight years of experience as an Analyst Programmer. He excels in relational database design and implementation, especially using SQL Server 2000. NW is Technical Manager for the Supporting People Design team.

JC: Graduated with a 1st Class degree in Mathematical Sciences from Oxford University. Further qualifications include an MCSE, MCDBA and a certificate in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University. JC has designed major aspects of the Supporting People software.

JF: Graduated with a 1st class degree in Physics and a DPhil in Applied Laser Physics from Oxford University. Previously worked on the development of control software for laser processing machines and on business-to-business (B2B) web sites for various commercial sectors. JF is using exceptional VB and SQL skills as a developer/architect on OCC's Supporting People project.

MN: Our newest SP team member graduated with a 1st class Honours degree in Computer Science from Oxford University, after winning the IBM prize for best use of Computer Technology in the Young Engineers for Britain contest and representing Britain at the Intel International Science Fair at Forth Worth, Texas. His extensive programming and design skills are already providing an invaluable contribution to the SP project.

RBS: Graduated with an MSc in Mathematical Modelling and Computer Simulation from Coventry University after a 2nd Class Honours Degree in Physics from Imperial College, London. He provided essential programming during the design of the SP system and actively supports client sites.
