This product is available to any local
government authority (LA) Supporting People team,
whether they are using OCC’s SP system or a different
system to manage Supporting People data. |
SPOCC.net is an e-Government product with clear business benefits
for LAs, which will bring measurable improvements to:
| SP data quality and accuracy |
due to audit trails and automated checks |
| SP team efficiency |
due to automation of manual processes and reduction in paperwork |
| Processing cost control |
due to streamlined processes and minimization of print and
production costs |
| Communication with providers |
due to direct Provider notification and modification capabilities |
Specifically, SPOCC.net enables providers to:
- enter their performance indicators on line
- download their tenant and subsidy schedules
- save and print schedules or import data into
spreadsheets or other applications for further analysis
- update client and schedule information
- notify the LA of clients joining or leaving a
service.
SPOCC.net enables clients
and service users to:
- find details of SP services in the local area
- obtain contact details for relevant services
- check availability of services (where appropriate)
- All processing is within a secure environment
- Providers can only access relevant information
- LAs can mark certain services (e.g. women’s
refuges) as confidential (these will not be published on the public
site).
- Modifications by the Provider must be approved
by the SP team before it passes into the core SP database.
| HOW IS THIS SYSTEM
DIFFERENT FROM THE PHASE 1 SYSTEM? |
Version 2 of SPOCC is the only product on the
market to support:
- Performance Management
- Service Reviews and Quality Assessments feedback
- Importantly, the Phase 2 system can import data
directly from the Excel workbooks provided by the ODPM.
